LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT, 24mm ultra-wide angle lens that has a 5x optical zoom with F2.5 aperture. The 24mm wide-angle lens offers approximately 213% larger viewing space when compared to a traditional 35mm camera. The newly added 3D Photo Mode produces a 3D image in the camera. The 3D image can be viewed on a VIERA 3D HDTV. The 3D image format is compatible with MPO, so it can be played back on other MPO-compatible equipment such as TVs and digital photo frames, or printed.
The DMC-FX78 has Venus Engine FHD with especially advanced signal processing capabilities which Capture clear, vibrant images even when shooting at a high ISO. There is a dedicated esthetic pallet which allow adjustments to skin, teeth whitening, lift up, and eye emphasis; a dedicated makeup pallet allows touchup to foundation, lip color, cheek color and eye shadow.
