16x optical zoom and 720p HD video recording. The DMC-ZS8 also features a
Intelligent Auto Mode for fully automated photographs without the hassle, and a powerful
Venus Engine VI image processor enables impressive image recording with higher signal processing. Other great features include Face Detection, Mega Optical Image Stabilization and Intelligent Scene Selector.
The DMC-ZS8 features 16x optical zoom lens from Leica DC with 24mm Ultra Wide Angle which delivers superior natural results from long-range shooting. It features Intelligent LCD display screen with high resolution and Intelligent ISO Control. The DMC-ZS8 is equipped with Panasonic's exclusive Intelligent Resolution technology. The added Extra Optical Zoom function extends zoom power even further to 33.8x by engaging the center part of the CCD to bring distant subjects still closer.
