The automatic amplifier control on the Ameriphone XL40D sets the amplifier to turn on automatically every time you lift the handset, or you can choose to turn it on manually. It has advanced digital electronic design that minimizes background noise and further enhances speech clarity. Other features include a visual ring indicator, 12 programmable one-touch speed dial keys, 4 tone settings and large keypad buttons. The Ameriphone XL40D is a hearing aid T-coil compatible phone and is wall mountable.
